Our Team

Our Team is made up of passionate community members who call Pinellas County home. They work year-round to create a city event that can be enjoyed by people from every walk of life. Our team is made up of movie makers, music creators, realtors, mothers and husbands. They give their time so that we can all celebrate art and cinema in Dunedin, Florida for one week out of the year. Cameron Campbell

Cameron has a lifetime of movie making experience from growing up on film sets in Orlando Florida during the 80s and 90s. She was on the board of directors for the Downtown Los Angeles Film Festival while working in luxury brand advertising in Hollywood, CA. Cameron is currently directing a documentary film produced in Dunedin, Florida and her international experiences at Cannes Film Festival from 2015 – 2019 have helped to curate an extraordinary program for the Dunedin International Film Festival 2020.

Hallie James-Booth

Filmmaker Hallie James-Booth’s lifelong passion for film moved her to earn a BFA in Screenwriting at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She lived many places before coming to Dunedin in 2012 and she instantly fell in love with this town and knew it was home. Dunedin International Film Festival combines two of her greatest loves.

Paul Cook

Paul Cook, also known as DJ BackBone, can be found throughout Pinellas County hosting specialty music nights. His business, MultIPlayer Agency, is known for throwing Instant Parties and elevating private and corporate events. Paul is the host of the infamous Jaget Gam at the Dunedin Brewery and his license plate says “DJ4HIRE.” Paul teaches music theory classes to aspiring DJs at local schools. He is a father and husband, and committed to community development through art and music.  

Jesika Freeman

As a Dunedin resident for over a decade, Jesika brings her passion for service to the Box Office by meeting and greeting the filmmakers, visitors, and locals of our delightful City of Dunedin!  Jesika also serves as Chaplain of our VFW Post 2550 Dunedin Auxiliary supporting our veterans and their families. When she is not volunteering in the community, she is most likely listening to Hair Metal or watching crime documentaries.

Katie Ducharme

Katie Ducharme has been singing and acting professionally since the age of six, she is an actor, and licensed realtor. Katie coined the title of #1 realtor in the city of Dunedin, selling over 50 million dollars worth of real estate since 2015.  She won Coastal Properties Group Rookie of the Year in 2015 and has been a Chairmen’s Club member since 2016. Katie is a member of the Architectural Review Committee for the City of Dunedin and has been the official National Anthem Singer for the Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training singing the Canadian and American Anthems since 2014. 

Austen van der Bleek

Austen van der Bleek is the Creative Director of Open House Conspiracy. His first foray into organizing events came after he experienced London nightlife in 2011. Austen’s dedication to the craft earned him ‘Best Club DJ’ in 2019’s Best of the Bay awards. He has played across the country during SXSW, Detroit around Movement Electronic Music Festival, Atlanta for the ATL Weekender, and internationally in Cartagena and Mexico City. Austen has been on the bill for renowned music festivals Suwannee Hulaween and Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. His musical knowledge is extensive and has lead to him open for visionary Mark Farina with Mushroom Jazz-style downtempo.
